3 Years of Marriage

Jeremiah and I celebrated our anniversary on Monday, September 24th - 3 years and 2 kids later :) Our friends Kevin and Naomi babysat the boys for us while we went on a romantic date in downtown Indianapolis. We dressed up and ate deserts at The Eagle's Nest restaurant on top of the Hyatt - it's a revolving restaurant that overlooks downtown. It's beautiful and peaceful. Jeremiah had cheesecake and I had some Tyramasu. The deserts weren't that awesome but the view and the atmosphere was worth the price tag. This is the restaurant we went to after Jeremiah proposed 3 1/2 years ago and we hadn't been back. Afterwards we went for a walk along the White River and back to the place where he proposed. It was fun reminiscing and enjoying our love. We found a stray cat along the way. He would have found a new home if he had followed us all the way back to our car but the sprinklers scared him off when he was almost there. Jeremiah is such an animal lover but really, I don't think our home is very pet friendly with a 1 1/2 year old and a 4 month old. Zachary goes for his 4 month well-baby check up tomorrow. Can't wait to find out how big he is.

Our pictures turned out really funny - I think because of the dim lighting and the motion.

It looks like we're on fire!!! Maybe we'll use these pics for our church :)
