We had a fun time visiting the Apple Farm in Michigan, "just down the road" (20 minutes) from my Aunt Lori's house in Brooklyn, MI. The apples weren't quite ripe yet on Labor Day but I did buy some McIntishes that are delicious. 
They had lots of animals in their petting zoo.
Toto was a little nervous around all the animals so Max held onto him. 
One day Alan is probably going to be just as tall as his grandpa. 
Alan really enjoyed playing with all the toy cars they had - lots of them.
He tried to pick up a rotting apple from the ground and eat it - discusting!
