A Day Well Spent

Ah, it's so refreshing to look back over a day and feel good about it. :) The day started with a trip to the Family Bookstore where my mom purchased several new Boz dvds and the new Veggie Tale dvd - "Big River Rescue". Alan was so excited and we got some great deals by combining sales with a 25% off coupon that I had earned! I bought a book for myself, "A Mom After God's Own Heart" by Elizabeth George. Has anyone ever read her books before? I haven't. I actually don't find much time to read these days but I'm working on finding more.
We played briefly at Broad Ripple park before heading home for lunch and naps. After Jeremiah came home from work we made our way up to the Fashion Mall to visit the Cheesecake Factory and enjoy cheesecake for $1.50 a slice. Much to our disappointed, the deal was for dine-in only and only one per party. So, we left and bought some cheesecake from Walmart and ate it at the park later on. We decided to eat an early dinner at our favorite chinese buffet (we all 4 eat for $11.25 including tax) and "just happened" to run into our friend from Burma who was just sitting down to eat with several of his friends, including a couple guys who had just come over from Thialand a week ago. We ate with them and planned ways to share the gospel with these Buddhists. We're looking forward to what God has instore! Suri, our friend, actually attends our church and is a strong Christian. He deeply desires to share his faith with the other refugees that live with and around him. It's so exciting to see how God took our disappointment about the cheesecake deal and redirected us into a divine appointment with these guys. All our steps are truly led by the Lord!
