Today is Alan's first day of preschool at Parkview Cooperative.
He was sooo excited to see his "new friends" and his teacher Joy.
Joy came to visit us earlier last week and gave us a paper chain to count down the days until the first day of preschool.
Ever since then, every day when we ask Alan what he wants to do, the response is, "Go to preschool?" I'm sure this is only the beginning. It's too bad he only gets to do two days a week on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Alan is in the Froggies class with other 2s and 3s. He was exploring everything today and moving quicky from one toy to the next - a farm set, a sand table, playdough, legos, swimming turtles and his favorite - a painting eisle where he can freely paint whatever he wants too.
There are eight children in his class. I'm be volunteering one day a month and providing snacks on that day as well. I'm really looking forward to the social interaction for both Alan and myself.
